Re: BT, 1994 854 T-5
had a "tweak" with the rear suspension, & finally got it how i want it
& thats the side with the least weight on due to the slope
still got an inch of suspension travel, think i'll have to cut the bump-stops down

would you believe i've got no pictures of the system (had a hard-drive clear-out),conrod855R wrote:how did u do the pcv system duane?
but basically binned the PCV & ran the pipe from the cam cover & block into the catch tank & blocked off the sump inlet. The black pipes in the engine pic are the new one's replacing the PCV

Re: BT, 1994 854 T-5
a friend told me about this nice simple mod to shorten the sidewards throw on the gear lever, compliments the forward to back short-shift plates perfectly. Really does feel like a sporty box now
the arm is held on with a simple roll pin & a circlip holds the selector cable on
arm removed.
holes may not be straight, but good enough. I ground off the original pin, drilled holes at 40mm, 53mm, 66mm & a hole at the original 80mm where the pin was. The 40mm is too close to the pivot point & the cable hits the gearbox casing
all back together, nut & bolt now hold the selector cable onto the arm

Re: BT, 1994 854 T-5
a few updates to liven the forum up lol
T-piece done for the hot air induction kit, so i can just remove the bung from the side vent for the straight thru pipe
she's now in a state to move under her own power as well, just need to sort the brakes out lol
rear still needs lowering some more

Re: BT, 1994 854 T-5
after looking at the group photo's some more i wasn't quite happy with the rear, so its been lowered a bit more. Also fitted a plug & socket so i don't have to open the boot when i've got a flat battery (yes i'm lazy lol)

Re: BT, 1994 854 T-5
few other little bits done, made a solid front engine mount. Must admit i haven't even started BT since so no idea how much extra vibrations there are lol. Got the wings, bumper & lights secured together for the front end, i've done the brackets to secure the bonnet but the rest can't take the weight at the minute
