short shift modification, side-throw (free mod)

i'm sure a few on here have got the short shift plate to reduce the forward/rear throw of the gearlever, well a friend of mine told me about this to reduce the side throw of the gearlever


the standard arm is held onto the gearbox with a roll-pin, its very easy to knock out & remove the arm. The cable is held on with a circlip

grind off the original peg, i then drilled several holes so i have several options where to bolt the cable & adjust the throw


after finding a suitable nut & bolt its all put back together

I will be getting the plate and doing this mod as my R is pants lol

i can't remember the measurements, but the lowest hole on mine is too low, the cable hits the gearbox casing so don't go too excessive
